Social segregation and isolation of space. Housing policy in selected metropolitan areas of Germany, France and Poland

The main aim of the study is to assess the progress of social segregation and spatial isolation in selected metropolitan areas in Germany, France and Poland, and to determine the relationship between these phenomena. An additional objective of the research will be to develop measures of isolation and spatial integration (as previously used measurement methods seem insufficiently responding contemporary phenomena) and an indication of the extent to which housing policy modifies both the phenomenon and the relationship between them (in the assumption that actions can contribute to identification of good practices for possible implementation in other areas, especially the guidelines for housing policy in Poland).
